THE EXLINE EATS APPROACH

Start with a simple conversation

Tell us what you are planning and we will help you find the right service, menu direction, and next step.

Do you offer custom menus?

Yes. Published menus are flexible starting points. Chef Ken can discuss combinations and adjustments based on your event, guest preferences, venue, service style, dietary considerations, and budget.

How far in advance should I inquire?

As early as possible, especially for popular spring, summer, and fall dates. Public marketplace guidance recommends substantial advance planning for peak wedding seasons, but availability can change. Contact Exline Eats even if your event is approaching soon.

What service styles are available?

Options may include delivery and setup, buffets, family-style service, stations, passed or stationary appetizers, plated service, breakfast or brunch, and dessert displays. Your proposal will identify the services included.

Do you provide staff, setup, and cleanup?

Staffing, delivery, setup, buffet or station service, bussing, cake cutting, and cleanup may be included depending on the event. The proposal will state exactly what Exline Eats is responsible for.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing depends on the menu, guest count, ingredients, service style, staffing, venue requirements, rentals, travel, and selected additions. Website pricing is a planning guide; the approved proposal confirms the final cost.

When is the final guest count due?

The deadline will be stated in your agreement or proposal. Share changes promptly so Exline Eats can explain any effect on food, staffing, rentals, or cost.

Can you cater outside Louisville and Southern Indiana?

Possibly. Share the venue address and event details so Exline Eats can review travel time, staffing, setup, and any additional cost.

Your event starts with a conversation.

Tell us the date, location, guest count, and the experience you want to create. Chef Ken will help you find the right next step.

Do you offer tastings?

Tastings or menu samplings may be available depending on the event and selected menu. Ask about timing, included guests, costs if any, and what will be prepared.

What size events do you cater?

Exline Eats commonly describes serving gatherings of approximately 15 to 200 guests. Ask about your specific guest count because the venue, menu, service style, and date may affect what is practical.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Exline Eats can discuss vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-aware, kosher, halal, and other needs. Share restrictions early, including the number of affected guests and any allergy severity. Specific accommodations and cross-contact limitations will be confirmed in writing.

Do you provide bar or beverage service?

Coffee, tea, zero-proof drinks, bartending, signature beverages, and other options may be available. Alcohol service depends on the venue, applicable law, insurance, staffing, and the approved agreement.

How do I reserve my date?

Submitting an inquiry does not reserve the date. The date is reserved only after Exline Eats confirms availability and receives the required signed agreement and payment described in the proposal.

How do payments work?

Payment amounts and milestones are stated in the agreement and invoice. Use only the Square invoice or authorized payment link sent by Exline Eats. Contact the team before paying if any detail appears incorrect.

How quickly will you respond?

Exline Eats aims to reply within one business day. Response times may be longer during events, weekends, and holidays.
