CATERING SERVICES
How It Works
Professional catering for Louisville and Southern Indiana, shaped around your gathering.
From First Idea to a Well-Run Event
A clear process makes catering easier. Explore a starting point, share the details you know, receive a tailored proposal, and refine the plan with Chef Ken before the event.
Begin with the service that best matches the gathering
Each service page now includes clear packages or custom-quoted directions. Selecting an option carries it into the Request a Proposal form so you can review and change it before submitting.
Wedding Celebrations
Compare the published wedding starting packages, then refine the menu, service, staffing, and presentation around the day.
Corporate & Business
Review meeting, lunch, buffet, bar, and team-event formats with published pricing and custom enhancements.
Private Events
Start with the $18 Homestyle Buffet or select a custom-quoted celebration or full-service hosting direction.
Browse the Menus
Explore small bites, buffets, cuisines, brunch, desserts, beverages, dietary options, and custom menu possibilities.
Eight clear steps from discovery to event day
The process stays flexible because every event is different, while the proposal defines the exact menu, service, timing, responsibilities, and investment for yours.
Explore Services & Menus
Review Weddings, Corporate & Business, Private Events & Celebrations, and the menu categories. Compare published prices, package starting points, and custom-quoted options to identify the best direction.
STEP 01
YOUR STEP
Choose Your Starting Point
Select the closest package, menu format, or custom experience. The choice follows into the proposal form and stays visible for review, where you can keep, change, or remove it.
STEP 02
YOUR STEP
Submit a Request for Proposal
Share dates, timing, venue, guest count, menu and service interests, dietary or accessibility needs, and your event vision. Submit with what you know; an inquiry does not reserve the date.
STEP 03
YOUR STEP
Availability & Fit Review
Exline Eats reviews the date, service area, event type, guest count, selected package, and initial scope, then confirms availability or requests clarification.
STEP 04
EXLINE EATS
Plan with Chef Ken
Discuss priorities, menu direction, dietary needs, service style, logistics, staffing, presentation, timing, and budget. A tasting may be scheduled when appropriate.
STEP 05
TOGETHER
Receive a Tailored Proposal
Receive a written scope covering the menu, quantities, staffing, service, delivery or travel, setup, rentals or serviceware, timing, payment schedule, and quoted investment.
STEP 06
EXLINE EATS
Review, Approve & Reserve
Request adjustments, approve the final scope, sign the agreement, and complete the required deposit or payment. The date is reserved only according to the proposal terms.
STEP 07
TOGETHER
Finalize Details & Enjoy
Confirm final attendance, venue access, timeline, layout, dietary needs, and approved changes by the stated deadlines. Exline Eats executes the agreed service so you can enjoy the gathering.
STEP 08
TOGETHER
The most helpful details to have ready
You do not need every answer before submitting. The information below helps Exline Eats understand the scope and respond with a useful next step.
Event essentials
Share the basic shape of the gathering.
- Primary and alternate event dates
- Start time and venue or general location
- City, state, ZIP, and known access details
- Estimated guest count and event type
- The package or service direction that interests you
Menu, service, and guest needs
Include what matters most—even if it is still a preference.
- Cuisine or menu interests
- Staffing, rentals, bar, dessert, tasting, or other services
- Known allergies, dietary preferences, accessibility needs, or accommodations
- Atmosphere, timeline, priorities, must-haves, and known budget parameters
- Anything the team should understand before the first conversation
What the proposal makes clear
Your proposal becomes the shared reference for the event. Final pricing and availability are based on the approved scope—not the initial website selection alone.
Menu & Investment
Selected dishes, package assumptions, customizations, enhancements, taxes, travel, and the final quoted investment.
Service & Staffing
Delivery, setup, buffet or station service, servers, cleanup, serviceware, rentals, and presentation responsibilities.
Timing & Deadlines
Arrival and service timing, payment schedule, final-count deadline, change deadlines, access needs, and event-day sequence.
Agreement & Reservation
Terms, responsibilities, approvals, required signatures, deposit or payment requirements, and when the date becomes reserved.
